What to know for the BMW 3 Series G20 (2019–2022)

The BMW 3 Series G20 (2019–2022) comes with ID7 iDrive. The features in this package are prepared for ID7 software; which options can be enabled depends on your car’s equipment (e.g. Bowers & Wilkins audio, power tailgate).

Coding changes vehicle settings; it does not affect engine power or ECU software. A software update at a BMW dealer can reset some coding; it then needs to be reapplied.
