What to know for the BMW 4 Series G22/G26 LCI (2024+)

Transmission software for the BMW 4 Series G22/G26 LCI (2024+) runs on the ZF 8-speed automatic’s control unit and is separate from engine software. Performance Package I changes shift character and launch functions without touching the engine calibration.

If your car already has power-increased engine software, or you plan to flash one with MOSTUNED, mention it before booking so torque limits and shift settings can be assessed. A software update at a BMW dealer can reset transmission settings; they then need to be reapplied.
